On Sunday morning, Alabama OL Alphonse Taylor was arrested for driving under the influence by the Tuscaloosa Police Department.

The senior guard was being held on $1,000 bail, according to the Tuscaloosa Sheriff’s Office.

Taylor started all 15 games for the national champion Crimson Tide in 2015, but had lost reps with the first unit this spring based on concerns about his weight.

Taylor’s arrest comes at a bad time for the Tide, who were already facing backlash for their handling of other legal problems this offseason.
