Alabama officially adds Florida State transfer to offensive line

Alabama has reached into the transfer portal to bolster its offensive line depth.
The Crimson Tide officially added Landon Dickerson, a graduate transfer from Florida State, who entered the portal in late May and initially listed Texas A&M alongside Alabama as a possible destination. Dickerson will have two years of eligibility remaining and will be able to play immediately after graduating this summer.
Dickerson will wear the same number he did at Florida State — 69, according to the updated roster.
Dickerson drew headlines as the first true freshman offensive lineman to start a home opener for Florida State since 1982. He then suffered a torn ACL in 2016 and missed all but six games the next two years.
Dickerson, who is 6-foot-6 and 308 pounds from Hickory, N.C., is joining an offensive line that lost three starters and will not have Deonte Brown following his four-game suspension because of an NCAA violation.
