Alabama passes Miami to set record for consecutive years with first-round NFL Draft pick
Alabama has passed Miami to take hold of the NFL Draft record for consecutive years with a first-round pick.
With the Carolina Panthers taking quarterback Bryce Young with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft on Thursday night, the Crimson Tide has now had at least 1 player taken in the first round of 15 consecutive drafts dating back to 2009. The Hurricanes had a first-round draft pick each year from 1995-2008, then Alabama’s reign began.
