Ad Disclosure
Earlier this morning, it was reported that Alabama juniors Cam Robinson and Laurence “Hootie” Jones had been arrested in what turned out to be some pretty serious charges against the former.
Robinson, the Crimson Tide’s starting left tackle from the previous two seasons, was hit with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and illegal possession of stolen firearms, the latter being a felony. Jones, a backup safety, is being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and the illegal carrying of a weapon.
In response, a handful of Alabama teammates took to Twitter to express their thoughts, most coming in defense of the two national title-bearing players:
