The dust has settled from the latest edition of the Elite 11 Finals and only one quarterback remained victorious by weekend’s end and it was Alabama’s Hawaiian quarterback commit Tua Tagovailoa.
The top ranked dual-threat prospect showed up to Nike world headquarters and proved his arm is just as valuable as his legs by winning the prestigious camp’s top honors.
Tua Tagovailoa will be bringing the #Elite11 MVP trophy back to Hawaii with him. Congrats @Tuaamann_ ! #MVP #808 pic.twitter.com/ctHfPWovT5

Not only did Tagovailoa capture the top individual award at The Opening, he proved to be the catalyst for the championship winning 7-on-7 squad on Sunday. Tagovailoa helped beat out Michigan quarterback commit Dylan McCaffrey, brother of Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey, to capture the title in the final round Sunday.

As if Alabama needed any more help, it looks like possibly the best combination of passing ability and elusiveness from the high school ranks will soon be attending school in Tuscaloosa.
Tua Tagovailoa was the main reason i picked his team to win The Opening. He ended up being the reason they won it today. Awesome showing
