Alabama considers Wynn a redshirt senior heading into 2022. In 2018, Wynn played in 3 games, making 3 tackles and taking a redshirt for the year. Over the last 3 seasons, Wynn has played in 18 games, recording 13 tackles. In 2021, Wynn made 7 appearances, making 5 stops.
Wynn is the first Crimson Tide player to enter the transfer portal since UA wrapped up spring practice. According to AL.com’s Mike Rodak, Wynn is the 16th Alabama player to enter the portal this offseason.
An Anderson, South Carolina native, Wynn was the 247Sports Composite’s No. 74 overall prospect in the class of 2018. He signed with Alabama over 26 other scholarship offers. Wynn has the opportunity to use the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for 2020 to play a sixth season of college football.
