Alabama makes improbable 100-yard scoop-and-score after Vols fumble

Well, this isn’t good.
With Tennessee looking to make it a one-score game against Alabama Saturday night, the Vols went for it on a fourth-and-goal situation. Quarterback Jarrett Guarantano tried sneaking it in for the touchdown, but he fumbled the football into the end zone while trying to go over the top.
Alabama defensive back Trevon Diggs picked it up and ran it all the way back for the 100-yard touchdown.
The score made it 35-13 in favor of Alabama late in the fourth quarter.

Jeremy Pruitt was clearly upset with Guarantano, as he grabbed his quarterback’s face mask and had some words for him.
That’s a backbreaker for Tennessee.
