Alabama unveils new throwback basketball uniforms to debut against LSU

Alabama basketball has some new throwback uniforms.
The threads were unveiled via social media on Tuesday. They are a crimson take on the white throwbacks worn last season.
Alabama held at No. 4 in the latest AP Top 25. The Crimson Tide are 15-3 overall, with a 4-1 mark in SEC play. UA is the second-highest-ranked SEC team, behind No. 1 Auburn and ahead of No. 5 Florida.
Nate Oats’ squad entered SEC play with a 10-2 overall record. Alabama began the conference slate 3-0 with wins over Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas A&M.
UA suffered its SEC loss of the season last week when Ole Miss pulled off a 74-64 upset in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide bounced back in a big way, taking down a top-10 Kentucky team on the road in Lexington, winning 102-97 at Rupp Arena on Saturday.
Next up, Alabama hosts Vanderbilt at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT on Tuesday. The Commodores are coming off a thrilling upset win over a top-10 Tennessee team in Nashville.
UA is set to wear the new throwbacks on Saturday against LSU (7:30 p.m. CT/8:30 p.m. ET). The Tigers are off to a rough start of 1-4 in SEC play, with the only win over John Calipari’s Arkansas squad.
