Phil Savage, the executive director of the Reese’s Senior Bowl announced that University of Alabama offensive lineman Austin Shepherd will play in the upcoming game.

He’s just the third Crimson Tide player to accept an invitation, joining quarterback Blake Sims and fullback Jalston Fowler.

Savage, who doubles as the radio analyst on Alabama football broadcasts, made the announcement during Nick Saban’s radio show, which was broadcasting from New Orleans.

Earlier Wednesday night the Senior Bowl announced that the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans coaching staffs will oversee the North and South teams.

Senior Bowl practices are scheduled to begin on Jan. 20. The game will kick off at 4 p.m. ET on Jan. 24 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile.
