Alabama’s streak with no turnovers is reaching historic levels

There are many reasons Alabama is the No. 1 team in the country, but the biggest one may be the fact that the Crimson Tide simply don’t make mistakes.
It has been eight games since the Crimson Tide have turned the ball over, a streak that is already reaching historic status.
Indeed, for the last 589 offensive plays, the Crimson Tide haven’t thrown an interception or lost a fumble:

That’s a stat made even more impressive by the fact that QB Jalen Hurts — a freshman for the first three games of that streak and only a sophomore now — has been at the helm of the Crimson Tide offense.
Though it’s unlikely that Alabama can keep its no-turnover streak going for the rest of this year, it’s never wise to count the Crimson Tide out.
Whichever team does eventually break the streak should feel very good about itself, even if the turnover doesn’t help them upset the nation’s top team.
