Alvin Kamara, former Alabama and Tennessee RB, arrested after Pro Bowl

Alvin Kamara was arrested Sunday following the Pro Bowl, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, for an incident that allegedly happened on Saturday at a Las Vegas nightclub.
The LVMPD released a report on the incident naming Kamara as the suspect. The LVMPD release said that Kamara was booked for battery “resulting in substantial bodily harm.”
On February 5, 2022, at approximately 5:50 p.m., LVMPD patrol officers were dispatched to a local hospital where a person was reporting a battery. The vicim reported being battered at a nightclub located at the 3500 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard.
The investigation by LVMPD Detectives determined the victim was battered by the suspect, later identified as Alvin Kamara. He was located and taken into custody without incident on February 6, 2022. Kamara was transported to the Clark County Detention Center where he was booked for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.

Kamara, of course, plays for the New Orleans Saints, and he’s a 5-time Pro Bowl selection and was the NFL’s Rookie of the Year in 2017. Kamara became a household name at Tennessee. He rushed for 1,294 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2 years in Knoxville. Prior to landing at Tennessee, he transferred from Alabama to Hutchinson Community College.
