Alvin Kamara missed practice on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday due to a knee injury. So it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that the New Orleans Saints running back won’t be suiting up on Sunday.

The Saints announced that Kamara will miss their Week 10 road matchup against the Tennessee Titans, meaning they’ll be without their top offensive playmaker while taking on 1 of the best teams in the NFL. It’ll be the 1st game that Kamara has missed this year.

Now in his 5th NFL season, Kamara continues to be among the top running backs in the league. The former Tennessee RB has 530 rushing yards, 310 receiving yards and 7 total touchdowns this year.

New Orleans’ offense is going to look quite different than it envisioned it would at the start of the season. Quarterback Jameis Winston and wide receiver Michael Thomas are both out for the year, so the Saints will likely be relying heavily on Kamara when he returns.

With Kamara out this week, it’ll likely be Mark Ingram II starting in New Orleans’ backfield. Ingram was traded to the Saints last month after playing 7 games for the Houston Texans to open the season.
