Anthony Richardson’s first regular season as Florida’s starting quarterback ended in disappointing fashion Friday night. The Gators lost 45-38 at rival Florida State, falling to 6-6. Billy Napier’s squad will receive a bowl bid next weekend, and it’s unclear if Richardson will be joining his teammates in the postseason.

After the FSU game, Richardson was asked about playing in the bowl game or declaring for the NFL Draft. Richardson’s answer indicated no decision has been made yet.

Richardson finished 9-of-27 Friday after beginning the game 5-of-7 with 3 touchdown strikes. For the season, Richardson has completed 53.8% of his passes (176-of-327) for 2,549 yards, 17 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. Despite Richardson’s passing struggles, NFL teams are said to be intrigued by the QB’s measurables, physical tools and athleticism.

We’ll see if Friday night was Richardson’s last game with the Gators.
