Anthony Richardson sends message to Emory Jones on Twitter after tough loss to Alabama

Anthony Richardson didn’t see the field at all for Florida in Saturday afternoon’s narrow 31-29 loss to No. 1 Alabama at The Swamp.
The Gators rode with Emory Jones the entire afternoon, and he played well enough to give the Gators a chance to tie late in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, Richardson was kept on the bench to rest his ailing hamstring.
After the game, Richardson — a great teammate — took to Twitter to throw his support behind Jones. As you can see below, he said Jones “shocked the world” on Saturday:
Congrats my g (@eXjones6), you definitely shocked the world today! Continue to strive for greatness & keep playing ball my boy! Let’s keep it going and handle everything one day at a time.. LOVE! ??

When Richardson is fully healthy, he’ll probably get back to playing on certain series in every game.
For now, though, this is Jones’s team, and Jones just proved on Saturday he can keep Florida in the game even against the toughest of foes.
