After months and months of anticipation, and a few more weeks added to the wait thanks to the Power 5 conferences shifting to schedules featuring all or mostly conference play, the college football season is finally at our doorstep.

Training camps are up and running all across the Southeastern Conference, and believe it or not, we are just over a week away from actual college football games being played as Thursday, September 3 features two football games set to be played.

In anticipation of the coming season, the AP poll just revealed its first poll of the season — the 2020 preseason poll.

One important note, the AP made the decision to rank Big Ten and Pac-12 teams for this preseason poll but all those teams will be removed from the rankings once the season starts.
