A predictable result followed Sunday, when the Bulldogs dropped 11 spots to No. 19 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

Little went right Saturday for the Bulldogs, who entered 4-0 and hoping  for a signature win to bolster their College Football Playoff resume.

Instead, the Bulldogs left Sanford Stadium searching for answers after Alabama scored 35 consecutive points en route to the 38-10 victory.

Nick Chubbs provided the Bulldogs’ lone highlight when he raced 83 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. That run extended Chubb’s streak of 100-yard games to 13.

The Bulldogs (4-1) travel to Tennessee for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff Saturday.
