The AP Top 25 for Week 10 has been released.

There was no movement in the top 4 this week as Week 9 provided little in terms of drama for the top teams in the country. A total of 5 teams from the Big Ten are ranked this week. The SEC leads the way with 8 teams in the AP Top 25 for Week 10.

In the SEC, Georgia continues to be the highest-ranked team in the league at No. 2 overall. Texas narrowly defeated Vanderbilt 27-24 on Saturday, which caused the Longhorns to slip down to No. 6 — one spot behind Miami.

Tennessee stuck at No. 7 overall this week. Texas A&M was the only other SEC team to appear in the top-10 sliding in at No. 10 overall. LSU slipped all the way to No. 16 following its second-half collapse in College Station on Saturday night.

Alabama also moved up 1 spot to No. 14 by virtue of its shutout win over Missouri. The Tigers nearly fell out of the top-25 entirely this week, dropping all the way to No. 25. Vanderbilt did slip out of the top 25 this week due to its loss to Texas. Ole Miss defeated Oklahoma this week in dominant fashion, coming in at No. 19.

In the Big Ten, Oregon retained its hold on the No. 1 ranking for another week. The Ducks earned a dominant top-25 win over Illinois on Saturday. The Fighting Illini now have 2 losses on the season and slipped to No. 24 in the AP Top 25.

Penn State earned a hard-fought win over Wisconsin on the road this week, so the Nittany Lions stuck at No. 3 in the AP Top 25. Ohio State also held on to the No. 4 spot this week after its close win over Nebraska.

Indiana moved up this week after it dispatched Washington 31-17 this week. The Hoosiers are now 8-0 on the season and have not trailed in any game so far in 2024.
