Appalachian State’s radio call of game-winning Hail Mary is everything you want it to be and more

Appalachian State beat Troy 32-28 Saturday evening on a last-second Hail Mary, and the magic keeps on rolling in Boone, North Carolina.

With just 2 seconds remaining and on 4th and 10, Mountaineers quarterback Chase Brice took the snap, rolled out of the pocket and heaved a prayer. Well, that prayer was answered — as was last week’s win over No. 6 Texas A&M. The Mountaineers receiver caught the ball and ran it into the end zone for the game-winning touchdown.

Appalachian State play-by-play announcer Adam Witten had an incredible call, too.

What a week for App State! The win over TAMU last Saturday was the reason College GameDay was in Boone Saturday morning. It was basically a recruiting infomercial for the Mountaineers. Then, they win on an incredible Hail Mary.

App State returns next week with a game against James Madison.
