Arkansas assistant allegedly throws reporter’s phone following Razorbacks’ loss to Texas A&M

Arkansas did not have a great showing Friday night in the SEC basketball Tournament. Despite building a 13-point lead over Texas A&M, the Razorbacks faltered in the second half and fell by a final score of 67-61.
Coming off the court after the game, Kentucky Kernel photojournalist Jack Weaver reported head coach Eric Musselman was especially charged up and dropped multiple expletives after the loss. Weaver also reported one member of Arkansas’ staff grabbed his phone and threw it at the ground.
Here is the brief incident:

Kernel Sports released the following statement on the incident:
“The Kentucky Kernel is appalled by the actions of the Arkansas men’s basketball program. (Jack Weaver) always embodies professionalism on the job and no journalist, especially a student journalist, should be subjected to violence for simply doing their job.”
We will see if Arkansas or Musselman has any response, but that is not a great look for the Razorbacks after getting knocked out of the tournament.
