Arkansas has canceled Saturday’s spring game and autograph session due to inclement weather.

Rain is expected all throughout the day in Fayetteville, leading the football program to call off its annual Red-White Game. The Razorbacks were set to have an actual scrimmage, something that is becoming more of a rarity in college football. Instead, fans will have to wait until the fall to see Taylen Green, Bobby Petrino, and Sam Pittman back in action.

The scrimmage was set for 2 p.m. ET inside Razorback Stadium.

Weather has impacted several Arkansas spring games in recent years now. The 2017 and 2022 games were moved inside the Walker Pavilion indoor facility due to weather. This time around, Pittman has opted just to call off the Razorbacks’ 15th and final practice of the spring.

Now, the attention shifts fully to the spring transfer portal window and then to summer workouts.

Arkansas has a top-20 transfer class this offseason with 23 known transfers. The Razorbacks begin the 2025 season at home on Aug. 30 against Alabama A&M.

Pittman is looking for a breakthrough season that can pull him off the hot seat he’s been on for several years. The Razorbacks are coming off a 7-6 season and a Liberty Bowl win. Pittman is 3-0 in bowl games and has 3 winning seasons in 5 years with the program, but the Razorbacks also have yet to produce a winning record in SEC play or lose fewer than 4 overall games in a season under Pittman.
