Arkansas managed to convert on 4th down on a fake field goal, but it came at the cost of some brownie points with the referee.
On 4th and 2, place kicker Max Fletcher took the snap and managed to pick up the first down, but ran over the referee in the process.

But the fake field goal ultimately didn’t lead to much more, as Arkansas ended up kicking a field goal just a few plays later.
After the field goal, LSU was able to march down and pick up another touchdown to give the Tigers a 24-16 lead late in the 3rd quarter. Now, Arkansas is looking for a big offensive possession to stay in the game.
The Razorbacks are looking for a big upset and a signature win early in SEC play, and LSU is hoping to stay undefeated against SEC competition.
