Arkansas fans thought they were in for a gauntlet of an SEC season, and that was appropriate. On the home schedule was No. 4 Tennessee, No. 13 LSU, No. 12 Ole Miss and No. 2 Texas.
But the Hogs are off to a great start at Razorback Stadium in league play, having scored an incredible upset over the Vols, 19-14, on Saturday night.
As you can imagine, fans were excited, storming the field after the final whistle:

Arkansas is going to incur a hefty fine from the SEC for having fans on the field, but Pittman wasn’t worried about that on Saturday night.
When asked about how many field stormings Pittman had been a part of, he had a great response, playfully calling out AD Hunter Yurachek for the check he was going to have to write:
“Two now. I think the AD’s gonna be mad. Maybe he won’t be. But right now I don’t care,” responded when asked about the field-storming incidents during his tenure.
This was a huge win for Pittman and the Hogs, and it could end up having major implications for Pittman’s future in Fayetteville.
We’ll see how the rest of the season goes, but the Hogs are playing their butts off for their embattled coach.
