Arkansas picked up a commitment from safety Korey Hernandez on Friday.
Hernandez, from Decatur, Georgia, is rated as a two-star talent by 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s considered the No. 136 safety for the class of 2017. At 6-foot, 175 pounds, it’s likely that building strength will be a concentration for him in the coming years.
Hernandez didn’t receive offers from any other SEC school. But Stanford, Colorado, Iowa, Indiana were considered interests, according to 247Sports.
