Linebacker Dre Greenlaw has had a rocky sophomore season in Fayetteville.
The talented defender suffered a broken foot on Oct. 8 versus Alabama. It was thought to keep him out for the remainder of the season. However, he managed to make a return for the Razorbacks’ bowl loss to Virginia Tech.
During the contest, Greenlaw got injured again. The best-case scenario for Bret Bielema’s team would be to have Greenlaw get fully healthy during the offseason.
Unfortunately, there appears to be a minor setback:
Just another small set back for me but I'm gone keep working

Unfortunate re-injury (foot) for #Arkansas LB. Will undergo surgery Wednesday. Good luck Dre. https://t.co/qXCsZLBBEj

Greenlaw re-injured the same foot he previously had surgery on. As a result, he’ll have another corrective procedure.
The Fayetteville native led the Razorbacks in tackles (95) as a freshman in 2015. Greenlaw was also recognized as a Freshman All-American — as well as the Athlon SEC Freshman of the Year.
Suffice it to say, but Greenlaw’s health is a major concern for Arkansas.
