Arkansas has reportedly made an offer to Jerry Jones’ grandson to play football for the Razorbacks.
John Stephen Jones is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound pro style quarterback out of Dallas (Highland Park). His grandfather resides in the same city and is the owner of the Dallas Cowboys.
Arkansas has one other quarterback already signed in the class of 2018 — 4-star Connor Noland out of Greenwood High School.
Jones also has an offer from Texas Tech and some interest from Texas and Vanderbilt, according to his 247Sports profile.
Last season, Jones apparently threw for over 3,000 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also rushed for an additional nine scores.
Jones posted this on Twitter Saturday:
Very happy to say I’ve received an offer from the University of Arkansas! #WPS pic.twitter.com/b6VpDBbCym

If Jones wants to play football in the SEC, it appears the Hogs are ready to welcome him to campus in Fayetteville.
