Arkansas players were thrilled for their interim offensive coordinator after a big win over the Florida Gators on Saturday.

The team posted a video on social media showing a shirtless Guiton being swarmed in the locker room after the victory.

Guiton was named interim offensive coordinator after Dan Enos was fired. Enos’ termination came after the Razorbacks mustered just 3 points against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. In Guiton’s 1st shot as OC, the Razorbacks scored 39 points, which is the 2nd most the team has scored all season.

The only time the Razorbacks exceeded 39 points was way back in Week 1 against Western Carolina when the team scored 56. Since then, the team scored 31 twice, but had just 24 points combined in the previous 2 games.

Guiton is in his 3rd season with the Razorbacks. The coach had been coaching wide receivers, but is now getting his shot as a play caller. Against Florida, the Razorbacks’ offense looked like it did in years prior. The unit managed just under 500 total yards of offense, and KJ Jefferson racked up 347 yards by himself.

The Razorbacks will next go back to Fayetteville to welcome in the Auburn Tigers. The Razorbacks will need to win out to become bowl eligible, sitting at 3-6 currently.
