The Arkansas Razorbacks have reportedly named a new tight ends coach in Morgan Turner, as was reported by Brandon Marcello on Thursday morning.
Turner previously coached tight ends at Stanford under head coach David Shaw starting in 2013. With his, he replaces Dowell Loggains, who recently departed to be named the offensive coordinator at South Carolina.
According to Turner’s bio at Stanford, his areas of recruiting include the state of Arkansas, despite the fact many may not be familiar with his name around Fayetteville. He has also recruited the areas of southern Florida, Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin and parts of California.
Considering the amount of successful tight ends Stanford has produced, this could prove to pay dividends for the Razorbacks moving forward offensively.
