Around college football: This has got to be an honor code violation, right?

Remember all those overreactions about your team on Twitter last week? About how good/bad/terrible your team is going to be based off one game?
Well, those overreactions were back with a vengeance in the college football Twitterverse during Week 2. Let’s not focus on those, though. Instead, let’s focus on the wonderful gifs, vines and pictures from around college football that seek to entertain rather than stress us out.
Here are the highlights from around college football during Week 2:
The BYU Sack Tap
Football can be a violent game. But you should NEVER, NEVER, EVER GO THERE.

This just adds to further suspicions that BYU is a sneakily dirty team.

Florida player tackles own teammate
It appears Jim McElwain has Florida moving in the right direction after so many years of mediocracy.
The new Gators coach notched his second win Saturday against Eastern Carolina, a team that was on the verge of coming back late in the fourth quarter. The team had the ball in the red zone trying to tie the game when Florida recovered a fumble. Then, this happened.

The Florida player probably wouldn’t have lost the ball or done something stupid en route to the end zone, but then we wouldn’t have this gif. Better to be safe than sorry, as many Gators fans know.
Hawaii pulls guards on failed run
More likely than not, you didn’t learn this play during pee-wee football practice.
Oh man…both the Hawaii guards pulled. Not good… https://t.co/bSZiZlK4VV

I’d like to think this was just a failed football attempt of the Flying V (Fans of the “The Mighty Ducks” series know what I’m talking about). Except, unlike Charlie Conway, Fulton Reed and the rest of the gang, Hawaii didn’t end up scoring on this play.
Southern Miss touchdown cannon
Like seemingly everything else in college football, touchdown cannons are getting bigger and louder. But that’s not necessarily a good thing if people don’t know how to operate them.

Thank goodness that Southern Miss player was alright. Actually, I’d imagine his ear drums (and possibly nostrils) aren’t.
Braxton Miller can do it all
Seriously, what can’t this guy do?
Ohio State’s quarterback-turned-receiver made his second entrance into college football last week with that awesome spin move against Virginia Tech. And, like any good receiver, he’s learning how to block.

I say Urban Meyer needs to play Miller as a safety. The sky’s the limit with him.

Former Ohio State offensive coordinator Tom Herman got his first big win as head coach at Houston (against Louisville). The team celebrated in style.

Notre Dame lost QB Malik Zaire for the season, but did not lose the game thanks to this … Hail Mary (appropriate, no?).
