Atlanta-area college football fans slam FOX for cutting off Nebraska-Northwestern game, switching to Falcons preseason coverage
Saturdays in the fall belong to college football.
Apparently, FOX forgot that on Saturday. It’s not a good way to earn fans, but it is a great way to earn serious ire on Twitter, as they found out on Saturday. The network cut off the Nebraska-Northwestern game in favor of Falcons preseason coverage, leaving college football fans angry. Those fans took their displeasure to Twitter.
First the Falcons game preempts The Bachelorette on Monday. Now the pre-game show is taking the Nebraska game off the air?
What is happening?!

Watching Nebraska game and it just switched over to the Falcons preseason game… what the heck! I’m on Hulu, anyone know what’s up?

So while I get the fact that Atlanta is Falcons country, how dare Fox get away from the Nebraska-Northwestern for a meaningless preseason game between the Falcons and Jaguars???

Some fans were a little more helpful, sharing ways that college football fans could still catch the game.
PSA: the Nebraska-Northwestern game is on the Fox Sports app if your game got booted for Falcons preseason

FYI Northwestern & Nebraska fans in Atlanta. We will be switching to #Falcons pregame at 2:30, you can watch the rest of the game on 5.3 over the air, or channel 234 on Xfinity

It appears as though Fox might want to reconsider their programming that might conflict with college football. It is Saturday Down South, after all.
