In his second preseason game for the Atlanta Falcons, former Florida safety Keanu Neal suffered a knee injury during the second quarter.
He did not return to the game, but initial reports were that the injury was minor. It now appears that, while the injury is not serious, Neal will need surgery and be out for three to four weeks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Atlanta begins its season on Sept. 11 against Tampa Bay.
