Richard Jibunor is apparently already eager to change his ways in 2018.
The 4-star Auburn linebacker commit appeared to be leaning on his faith Sunday afternoon after facing a bit of adversity just hours prior.
Jibunor was arrested for driving under the influence early Sunday morning.
“Don’t let yourself be defined by your mistakes from the past, and always remember that it’s only a fool who looks at his mistakes and laughs at it instead of learning from it,” the class of 2018 prospect posted on Twitter.
Jibunor is rated as the nation’s No. 13 athlete and is the No. 32 prospect in the state of Georgia, according to the 247Sports composite.
If his tweet is any indication, Jibunor is ready to improve from his mistakes going into the new year.
Don’t let yourself be defined by your mistakes from the past, and always remember that it’s only a fool who looks at his mistakes and laughs at it instead of learning from it. LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, I’ll always worship you in every circumstance. Let your name be forever praised.🙏🏾
