Auburn defensive back ejected for targeting against Jacksonville St.

SEC football witnessed its first ejection of the season Saturday during Auburn’s home game against Jacksonville St.
Redshirt senior defensive back Blake Countess was ejected for targeting Jacksonville St. quarterback Eli Jenkins with 1:44 left in the second quarter.

The sixth-ranked Tigers trail at the half 10-6.
Auburn defensive starters Carl Lawson and Tray Matthews did not start due to injuries.
