Charles Moore, a four-star recruit out of Louisville, Miss., has decided to leave Auburn and enroll at Jones College in Mississippi, per 247Sports.com.

Moore was a signee in the 2019 class for the Tigers and expected to slowly become a contributor along the defensive line for defensive coordinator Kevin Steele. The 6-foot-4, 255-pound Moore did not make an appearance in the first three games while three other freshmen — Colby Wooden, Derick Hall and Jaren Handy — have all seen various amounts of playing time.

He was rated as a top 100 overall prospect in the 2019 recruiting cycle, the No. 6 strongside defensive end in the nation and the No. 4 overall prospect from Mississippi.

After suffering a knee injury his junior season, Moore helped lead his high school team to a state championship, making 79 tackles. He signed with Auburn over scholarship offers from Florida, LSU, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

Moore was a 2019 Under Armour All-American coming out of Louisville High School in Louisville, Miss.
