The Auburn Tigers beat then No. 20 Kansas State in Manhattan in front of a raucous crowd on Thursday night.

It was a less than impressive performance from the Tigers. The offense sputtered all night and the Wildcats had several missed opportunities to win the game.

Gus Malzahn’s team remained in its No. 5 spot in the Amway Coaches Poll with 1,316 points. Auburn also held its spot at No. 5 in the Associated Press Top 25 with 1,268 points.

The Tigers have yet to receive a first-place vote in either poll this season.
