Auburn added a major piece to its 2024 recruiting class on Friday afternoon.
The Tigers picked up a commitment from 3-star tight end Martavious Collins. A former Alabama commit, Collins chose Auburn over the Tide, Florida State and several other top programs.

Collins attends Rome High School in Rome, Georgia. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 241 pounds.
Collins is a huge addition for the Tigers in this recruiting class. He’s currently ranked as the No. 507 overall player and the No. 50 athlete in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
He becomes the 5th player to pick Auburn so far in the 2024 cycle. Overall, Auburn’s class ranks No. 24 nationally according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Auburn’s class is led by 4-star quarterback commit Walker White. Shortly after Collins made his announcement, White acknowledged the commitment:
