Fairweather finished 2022 with 28 catches for 426 yards and 3 TDs. Fairweather’s 3 TDs were the 2nd-most on the Panthers.
Fairweather will bolster the 118th-ranked Auburn offense from 2022. A tight end was a major need for the Tigers heading into the offseason, as John Samuel Shenker will not return in 2023. Schenker holds the Auburn record for most career receptions by a TE.
The Fairweather decision adds to the good news received by the Tigers on Sunday. Earlier on Sunday morning, 2023 4-star DB Sylvester Smith officially flipped his commitment from Tennessee to Auburn.
