In the wake of Auburn’s 19-13 loss to Clemson on Saturday night, frustrations boiled over for one linebacker on Twitter.
T.J. Neal — a transfer from Illinois — voiced his displeasure over a lack of playing time. He had accrued 109 tackles and 14 tackles-for-loss last year for the Fighting Illini. However, Neal hasn’t been able to secure a starting spot for Gus Malzahn’s squad.

On Sunday, Neal yet again took to Twitter to apologize for his prior sentiments. He deleted the initial post-game comments and followed with some remorse:
I want to apologize for my selfish tweets last night, about me.allowing my emotions get the best of me. It a team sport and it not about me

With Neal’s history of producing — coupled with his overall amounts of experience — one would think he’d be given an opportunity to contribute sooner rather than later.
