The offer from the Tigers comes a day after Marshall competed in the Under Armour All-America Game in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Marshall is the third-rated player in the country behind fellow Auburn target Martez Ivey and Georgia commit Trent Thompson. He’s the top player from the state of California.
USC is believed to be the front-runner for Marshall’s services, though AuburnUndercover reports Marshall will strongly consider the Tigers. The top cornerback in the class spent time around several Auburn commits this week in Orlando during Under Armour events.
At 6-foot-1, 190-pounds, Marshall boasts great instincts and the ability to change directions on the outside. The Long Beach, Calif., native clocked a 4.5 40-yard dash, and though his cover skills need improvement, Marshall possesses great recovery speed.
Marshall made waves this week during practice and on Friday at the Under Armour All-America Game.
