Bryan Harsin is coming under increased criticism from current and former players as plenty of chatter ramps up around the Auburn coach’s standing on The Plains.
Harsin’s standing appears increasingly in jeopardy as Auburn President Jay Gogue has also weighed in about the situation, and that university leaders are trying to “separate fact from fiction.”
The issue came to light after Auburn saw some 20 players enter the transfer portal, and the Auburn coaching staff lost 5 coaches, the most high-profile people in that mix are Bo Nix, the former legacy quarterback, and defensive coordinator Derek Mason.
But Smoke Monday, the former defensive back who declared for the NFL Draft, has been vocal on social media, and revealed that Harsin never spoke to his parents. and he cited Mason’s departure as a red flag.
As for DL Colby Wooden, he said on Instagram Live that Nix, who he called “Mr. Auburn” left for a reason.
Kobe Hudson: “If Harsin learns how to relate to people, he’ll be the next Nick Saban.”
