Barry Odom confirms Mizzou staff changes involving defensive coordinator, o-line coach

Published:
Missouri dealt with some changes to its coaching staff on Friday.
Those could be viewed positively or negatively, depending on how Mizzou fans see it.
Head coach Barry Odom said that he was promoting Ryan Walters to defensive coordinator, according to Tigers insider Gabe DeArmond. Walters has been at Mizzou since February of 2015.
This seems to be a fairly stable staff change.
Odom reportedly also plans to hire a linebackers coach:

Additionally, Offensive line coach Glen Elarbee is apparently moving on to Central Florida with former Missouri offensive coordinator Josh Heupel.
Heupel took over the Knights’ head coaching job earlier this week.
Sources: #Mizzou offensive line coach Glen Elarbee is following Josh Heupel to UCF. Elarbee not at Mizzou practice today. I’m told Barry Odom will address situation after practice. Believe Elarbee will be UCF OC, not 100% on the that.
