The scene for Week 7 was set early in Ann Arbor, Mich., when former South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier made an appearance on the “College GameDay” set.
That was supposed to be one of the more buzz-worthy events of Week 7. But the Head Ball Coach was blown out of the water by tons of entertaining tweets, vines and videos around college football, including from the Michigan-Michigan State game itself.

For a while, Michigan’s punting was a big component of the Wolverines sustaining a lead against rival Michigan State. This one, in particular, was a beauty.

But all good things must come to an end, and did it ever to end the Michigan-Michigan State game. The Wolverines attempted a punt to pin the Spartans back and run out the clock, but they couldn’t even get it off. What a cruel way to lose a game.

This guy felt like a rock star watching his Tigers upset No. 13 Ole Miss in Memphis. He deserves some kudos for using the megaphone as a guitar prop, but maybe keeping the shirt on would have made for better television. He even has a little Elvis in him.

Migraine headaches can happen at any time, including while your team is getting blown out at home. Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin probably felt the same way as this Texas A&M fan watching his offense struggle against Alabama.

Minnesota and Nebraska have a football rivalry that dates back to 1900. The rivalry’s trophy, though, is a bit more modern – it started in 2014 as the result of Twitter banter between Minnesota’s mascot and Faux Pelini. Thus was born the “$5 Bits of Broken Chair Trophy,” which changed hands for the first time on Saturday following Nebraska’s victory.
