Better than Trevor Lawrence? CBS analyst has strong take about Clemson freshman DJ Uiagalelei

With Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence sidelined as he recovers from the coronavirus, Dabo Swinney called upon true freshman D.J. Uiagalelei to head the way as the Tigers hosted Boston College. They would ultimately pull off a comeback win over the Eagles, with Uiagalelei going 30-of-41 for 342 yards while tossing 3 touchdowns.
Tiger fans will be hoping for the California native to seize the moment on Saturday as Clemson and Notre Dame meet in South Bend for a massive top-5 showdown. And according to one national voice, as good as Lawrence has been, Uiagalelei will be better during his career.
During an appearance on CBS Sports HQ on Monday, CBS Sports college football writer Dennis Dodd offered up a bold statement on what the trajectory of Uiagalelei will look like, with his second career start coming up on Saturday against the Fighting Irish.
“After seeing his arm, it’s stronger than Trevor Lawrence’s,” Dodd said. “It looks like he’s a better runner, and at 6-4, 250 (pounds) … after the front 4 or front 3, he’s bigger than anybody in that back 7. I think he’s going to be better than Trevor Lawrence after seeing him for 1 game. He’s massively confident, and I expect Clemson to pull it off.”
Imagine going from Trevor Lawrence to someone better than Lawrence.
According to @dennisdoddcbs that's exactly what the Clemson Tigers have done:
