Bijan Robinson has impressed over his first 2 seasons at Texas. However, the sophomore running back’s production didn’t lead to wins for the Longhorns in 2021, as they’re 4-7 entering their season finale against Kansas State.

Is it possible that Robinson may want to transfer and try to find a program that is having more success?

Robinson quelled any of those concerns that Texas fans may have had on Monday, as he confirmed that he has no intention of leaving for another school.

“I’ll be here next year,” Robinson said, per Jeff Howe of 247Sports.com.

After rushing for 703 yards and 4 touchdowns in 9 games as a freshman in 2020, Robinson followed that up by putting up even bigger numbers, as he ran for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns in 10 games this year. However, his season is now over, as he missed last week’s loss to West Virginia with an elbow injury that will also cause him to sit out the finale.

But it’s clear that Robinson is eager to get back into action and to start preparing for the 2022 season.

“Whenever they get me cleared, I’m going to come back hard. As hard as I can,” Robinson said, per Howe.

Without Robinson, Texas will look to snap its 6-game losing streak and end 2021 with a win when it faces Kansas State on Friday at noon ET on FOX.
