Bo Nix shares update after surgery for season-ending ankle injury

Bo Nix says his Monday surgery was successful.
On Sunday, college football fans learned that Nix broke his ankle in the Auburn-Mississippi State game Saturday. Nix confirmed those reports Sunday evening when he tweeted a statement about beginning the road to recovery.
Monday, Nix took to social media again to let everyone know it was a successful surgery.
Surgery was a success! I am thankful for all the doctors and nurses who made today go so smooth as well as all those who prayed for me and supported me. Super excited to start the recovery process so I can be back on the field! God is good! pic.twitter.com/Kb0ulzL9IW

It was revealed that the third-year Auburn quarterback stayed in for 3 more drives after injuring his ankle.
On Saturday, Nix was he was 27-of-41 passing for 377 yards, a career-high, and 2 touchdowns. In 10 games this season, Nix threw for 2,294 yards, completing 197-of-323 passes for 11 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
