Boston College gets dragged on social media for storming field after win over Mizzou

Boston College fought hard on Saturday against Missouri, earning a 41-34 victory in overtime.

After that, the reported sellout crowd decided that beating a middle-of-the-road SEC team was worthy of storming the field.

You can see the game-clinching interception in the video below and the field storming in the picture after:

But, after fans stormed the field, other fans on social media didn’t much care for that. Many wondered why beating Missouri (in overtime, no less) was worthy of rushing the field:

It has been a while since Boston College has been relevant in football, but it still seems questionable to draw a likely hefty fine from the ACC to celebrate that win.

Either way, the Eagles are now 4-0. They haven’t started that well since a guy named Matt Ryan was their quarterback.
