Brady Cook suffers non-contact injury while dropping back to pass vs. Auburn

Brady Cook is the leader of the Mizzou offense. He has struggled at times this year, but the Tigers have put up a 5-1 record through 6 games.
However, it appears Mizzou could be without Cook for the remainder of today’s game against Auburn. On the Tigers’ opening possession, Cook was dropping back to pass when he slipped and went down.
Here’s a look at Cook going down and then jogging off the field in clear and obvious pain:

Obviously, that doesn’t look good. And Cook has been a warrior during his time at Mizzou, so he has to be really injured to leave the game.
Cook had a QB run earlier on the possession, which may have led to the injury. Cook went to the locker room for further evaluation, but the broadcast hadn’t mentioned any updates as of the midway point of the first quarter.
This is certainly something to monitor as the day goes on. And if he’s out for the day, we’ll see how long Cook misses. The Mizzou offense will be led by transfer QB Drew Pyne for the time being.
Pyne managed to pick up a few yards on his first pass attempt, leading to a 51-yard field goal on the Tigers’ opening drive.
UPDATE: The ESPN broadcast team said it was an ankle injury for Cook. He’s getting it taped up and is expected to return to the game. Meanwhile, Pyne continues to lead the Tiger offense.
