Recently, FOX analyst Brady Quinn picked three SEC teams to make his College Football Playoff field through four weeks of the season.

That led to people blowing Quinn’s Twitter up, and he addressed that scenario during Saturday’s FOX pregame show.

Below, he explains how he thinks the SEC could get three teams — Alabama, LSU and Georgia in the Playoff:

“Here’s how: If Alabama goes undefeated, they’re obviously in as the SEC champion,” he said. “You then have LSU who has to play Alabama. If that’s their only loss — and coach (Urban Meyer), you know this — you don’t have to win your conference to get in as a one-loss team. That would be LSU’s only loss. Georgia could potentially lose to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game and that would be their only loss. You would potentially have two one-loss SEC teams, an undefeated Alabama team that gets in. If you had all these other conference champions with two losses — which is a big if, since I don’t think it’s going to happen for Ohio State or Oklahoma — but if that was the scenario, you could potentially make the case for why the SEC would get three teams in.”

This scenario is unlikely, but it could happen. That would likely blow the minds of many college football fans.
