Bryce Young is a special college football player, having won the Heisman for his performance as Alabama’s quarterback this year.
But, just how special is he? FOX Sports college football analyst Brady Quinn gave his opinion on that on Monday.
Quinn spoke about the Alabama quarterback during an interview on “The Dan Patrick Show:”
“I think Bryce Young, which I’ve kind of been pounding the pavement for him all year … he’s one of the best quarterback talents I’ve ever seen,” he said. “It’s hard to pick against Bama, just for that reason. The types of throws he can make and how he plays the game as a young player in college football is unbelievable. I told everyone back in the spring to take the betting advice that he was going to win the Heisman.”
Quinn also predicts this won’t be Young’s last Heisman.
“Here’s the other one: he’s going to be the first two-time Heisman winner. The only thing that would stand in his way is an injury or if he decides to bounce after next year. That’s really it. I think he’s talented enough to win two. I don’t know if he’ll be in college football long enough to do it.”
The only player to win back-to-back Heismans was Ohio State running back Archie Griffin. Young was the first Alabama quarterback to win the Heisman.
