Breaking down the SEC programs with the most NFL players on opening day rosters
There are a myriad of recruiting tools that coaches use in order to lure top talent to their respective schools.
The overall atmosphere of an institution is highlighted — as is the potential academic prowess of the school. For those players aspiring to play on the professional level, the ability for a school to churn out players to the NFL is immense.
Traditionally speaking, SEC schools are virtual fertile grounds for NFL-ready prospects. This sentiment is echoed again in 2016:

Not only does LSU lead the SEC in former players on NFL rosters, but it also leads the country. Following closely behind is Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
For any of these head coaches (Les Miles, Nick Saban, Kirby Smart, Jim McElwain), this single tweet (among other things) could literally legitimize the success each program has at developing its players — and thus preparing them for the highest level.
