Brian Kelly dedicates game ball to Greg Brooks, LSU players love it

It was a dominating performance by the LSU Tigers on Saturday, as they rolled into Starkville and took care of the Mississippi State Bulldogs, 41-14.
The offense between Jayden Daniels (30-of-34, 361 yards and 2 touchdowns) and Malik Nabers (13 catches, 239 yards and 2 touchdowns) were clicking on all cylinders early and often. The defense held Mississippi State to only 201 yards and resembled more the dominant defense they expected entering the year.
Brian Kelly was very pleased with his team’s performance, and after the game, dedicated the ball to Greg Brooks, who missed the game because of a medical emergency.

After the game, Kelly told reporters that Brooks missed the game, but didn’t go into much more detail on that.
He did say the team was caught off guard by the news, and that the team’s thoughts and prayers were going out to Brooks.
Brooks is a senior safety who has 8 tackles on the season, and he had 2 interceptions last season in his first season at LSU. He started his career at Arkansas, where he played 3 seasons for coach Sam Pittman.
The Tigers welcome the Razorbacks to Death Valley next Saturday night.
